This years expo was bigger than ever, both in number of exhibitors and attendees. There was a real buzz about the place and it was well worth the 4 hour drive to get there. The highlight for me is always getting books sketched in by the artists. This year we were able to pick up copies of the Etherington Brothers' El Sketchbook Lorenzo volume 5, Elephantmen volume 1 by Richard Starkings and Tales of the Spiffing by the Aardman Animations team.

Tales of the Spiffing sketched in by all the Aardman Animation team that were in attendance.
I was helping out on the Jen Smith Designs table, and some lucky shoppers walked away with paintings, postcards and cuddly felt characters. Here are just a few of the goodies available on Jen's table:

Walter, the felt cat (these bad boys were the most popular item of the day!)

A selection of hand painted acrylic paintings.
All in all it was a great weekend, and I love heading over to Bristol. Such a great town with amazing people. Here's hoping that next year will be even bigger and better than ever!
See you there next year!
